Press release -

Hege Yli Melhus Ask resigns as Group CEO of NHST Media Group

HegeYliMelhus Ask has resigned her position with NHST Media Group.

- Hege has done a very good job as Group CEO and has led NHST Media Group through two challenging years. We would have preferred for her to stay on longer, but we of course respect her decision. A process to recruit her successor has begun, says Anette Olsen, Chair of the Board of Directors of NHST Media Group.

Olsen points out that Ask has led the Group during a period where its subsidiaries have implemented extensive restructuring and cost reductions and at the same time, the companies have launched numerous digital services that have contributed to strengthen their competitive positions. -Together with all ongoing projects this contributes to the various NHST companies being very well positioned to take advantage of the exciting opportunities created bythechanging market conditions, says Olsen.

- I have had two interesting and good years at NHST Media Group. We have achieved a lot during a challenging period for the Group and the rest of the industry. My decision is about wanting a leadership role that continues to entail overall responsibility, but also more proximity to daily operations than I have had as Group CEO of NHST. I am grateful forhaving had the opportunity to lead an organization with so many competent people and a journalistic mission that has rarely been more important, Ask says.

Ask will step down 1 December and willthenbe available to the Group.
