Leia Parker named Editor in Chief of Upstream

London, UK, Nov. 27, 2019 -- Leia Parker is appointed Editor in Chief of Upstream – the leading global news source for the oil and gas sector.

Parker previously served as a Managing Editor and in other leadership roles, guiding reporting teams for 13 years in providing high-caliber news for Dow Jones Newswires and The Wall Street Journal. She has previously also led reporting teams at Silicon Valley news organizations for four years. Parker is going to helm the editorial team of Upstream, with reporters breaking news from all over the world.

Parker will assume her new position in London January 1st, 2020.
